Francisco, thank you for such a well-written and thoughtful reply. I hear what you’re saying about becoming your own “path.” I hadn’t thought to describe it that way before, but I’ve long wondered whether I should stop turning to established philosophies and ideologies for guidance and instead start trying to construct my own. But the task of coming up with your own “path” does seem a little intimidating. I suppose that maybe you have to first work on refining your critical thinking skills before you can accomplish such a task, which I do hope is something that will happen as I continue to think, study and write about spiritual matters. And hopefully it’ll happen sooner rather than later! :)
