I can’t say I know too much about Peterson. I saw his interview with Cathy Newman and thought he acquitted himself pretty well, but I haven’t had the time to watch more than a couple of his Youtube videos. He seems quite intelligent, but I don’t have any opinions on his ideas yet.

That being said, I agree with the major points of your post. Unfortunately, we live in very polarizing times, and so more and more people are taking up residence inside those echo chambers you referenced. They occasionally pop out of those chambers to make a snarky comment or scream at someone, but they’re not interested in meaningful dialogue. It’s tribalism, and it’s not healthy. I’m really hoping it’s just a phase, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
