I don’t think you sound hyperbolic at all. I have zero professional training in constitutional law, yet even I figured out long ago that you simply can’t put your faith in mainstream media outlets when it comes to their reporting on SCOTUS decisions. They’re much more invested in selling narratives than they are in reporting the facts, usually because the facts aren’t compelling and dramatic enough to boost a network’s ratings. They all do it — Fox, CNN, MSNBC. There are quite a few news sites that do it too, and social media has only made the problem exponentially worse.
