I love this post.

I won’t touch on the David Hogg issue because I have too many thoughts about the Parkland activists to list here. However, even though I’m not a religious person, I’m a big fan of this particular strain of Christian thought. It’s incredibly easy to let politics turn you into a raging, hateful cynic, and the consequences of that are usually bad for both the cynic and the cynic’s targets. I know this because I can be very cynical when it comes to politics LOL. But that’s also why I try to pursue the same philosophy you’re describing here. It’s also one of the many reasons why I love C.S. Lewis (Mere Christianity is awesome, and this is coming from a non-Christian).
