Well, we could implement a runoff system as well, which would be my preference. We could hold the first round in the summer and schedule the runoff for November. I’d rather do that than either let Congress pick our presidents for us or just do away with the Electoral College, although there’s certainly no shortage of folks who would love to get rid of the EC.
