It is indeed a shame that there isn’t more bipartisanship on this issue these days. I hold some views that could accurately be described as conservative, but the Republican Party’s reluctance to take any meaningful action on climate change (or to even acknowledge that it’s a problem) has long been one of the biggest reasons why I’m unable to vote for the majority of Republican politicians.

The good news though is that several polls have shown that a sizeable number of young conservatives are more willing and eager to take on climate change. One can only hope that maybe they’ll usher in a new era of bipartisanship on this issue once they come of age.
