Respectfully, a much more recent study published in the New England Journal of Medicine shows that vaping is actually a more effective tool for quitting cigarettes than traditional cessation strategies, including the nicotine patch, inhaler, and lozenges.

That said, I do agree that some regulations intended to curb e-cig use among teens are most definitely needed. But those regulations must also be structured in ways that don’t discourage adult smokers from trying to quit smoking with the help of e-cigs, especially if they’ve already tried (and failed) to quit with other products/devices.
