Thank you for reading and commenting, Joseph! But I'm afraid I do have to respectfully disagree with you about masks. Masks are more about preventing you from passing the virus on to someone else than about protecting from you getting infected. For that reason, I think it's worth trying to reach out and talk to people who don't want to wear them. I'm not trying to boss them around as much as I'm just asking them to reconsider their position. I really want to avoid a second wave of lockdowns, and if there is even just a 1% chance that wearing masks can help us do that, I think it's worth it, if only because wearing a mask is (for most people) a very mild inconvenience, you know?
