I can relate to what you’re saying about the conflicts that arise between different groups of believers (and nonbelievers). There seems to be three things in life that really bring out the tribal natures in people — sports, politics and religion. Navigating such conflicts can be incredibly difficult and exhausting, though you do learn a lot just by observing the people who participate in them.

That said, I’m quite happy to hear that you’ve settled into a position that makes you happy! Perhaps one day I’ll be able to say the same. :)
