This is actually a very heartwarming thing to read.

…ife been intoxicated, got loopy (due to the CO2), played a last round of bingo, then went to sleep. Until the very end she never lost her mind or her ability to walk (though she had been slow and limited in distance since the loss of her toes.) She never had a heart attack or a stroke, never needed a nursing home. I am so very grateful for that.

This is actually a very heartwarming thing to read. After working so hard for so long, a relatively peaceful and quiet end is the least that your grandma deserved. And I’m quite glad that you got to have her in your life for as long as you did. =)
