This is such a good observation! Rogan’s humility is a refreshing thing to see, mostly because people don’t associate humility with all the other traditionally masculine qualities he exudes. I imagine that only adds to his appeal. But I also suspect that it’s one of the reasons why some of his critics are suspicious of his motives. They’re skeptical that a macho guy who gets along well with his right-wing guests can be anything other than a closet alt-right sympathizer. But as you succinctly explained, he just wants to get people’s ideas out into the open and see where they lead. He’s not one to try to spark a confrontation, even if it’s over a sincere difference of opinion.
